Kerala turned out to be the most emotional and peaceful part of our India trip, and it left a lasting impression on us. It felt like stepping into a completely different rhythm of life — slower, quieter, and deeply calming in a way we didn’t expect but truly appreciated.
We began in Kochi, where the blend of history, seaside charm, and everyday local life immediately drew us in. Walking through Fort Kochi, watching the fishing nets, and just sitting by the water felt simple yet meaningful — like we were slowly starting to unwind without even realising it.
The backwaters of Alleppey were the emotional highlight of the journey. Our houseboat stay was incredibly peaceful — gently moving through narrow canals, seeing life unfold along the water, and sharing quiet moments together on deck. There was a sense of stillness and connection that’s hard to describe, but it stayed with us long after we left.
Munnar felt refreshing in a different way. The mist-covered tea plantations, cool air, and endless green hills brought a sense of awe and calm. Driving through the winding roads, we often found ourselves just silently taking in the views, feeling grateful to be there.
Premium India Tours planned everything flawlessly, from the houseboat to the smooth transitions between destinations. Because everything was so well organised, we were able to fully experience Kerala without stress — just presence, emotion, and unforgettable memories.
