Khimsar is a unique destination in the Thar Desert of Rajasthan and is reminiscent of its royal past. The Khimsar Fort with its turrets and battle marked walls is absolutely delightful. Khimsar Fort - The Khimsar Fort was made by Rao Karamsiji in 1523. In the eighteenth century, a ladies wing was added to the fort according to the tradition of the times and during the 1940s.

Typically, temperature during summer varies between 42.2°C and 27.3°C and between 27.5°C and 9.5°C during winters. Annual rainfall here is around 31-cm. Carry light tropical clothing for summer is light tropical and light woollens for winter.
